I already own a petsfit soft crate, which I have been using for months, and is very well made. I wanted an XL carrier for my babies, just so they have extra space when going to the Vet. After scrolling thru many pages of carriers, I came across this one!! I did some additional research to make sure it's what I wanted, and hit the "buy" button! It arrived the next day, and was well packaged. ((F.Y.I. When I ordered this carrier, I needed to be home & present for delivery to provide a one-time password to the driver)). It folds nicely for storage and I absolutely love that a (good quality) zippered storage bag is included. My 2-year old (12 lb.) cat Houdini refused to get out of the carrier as I took the photos for this review! If you need a large carrier (with or without wheels), I highly recommend THIS one!!! I own a dozen carriers in many different styles, and this became my new favorite as soon as I opened it!! I will update after we use the carrier!!**CARRIER-TRAINING TIPS: If your cat hates their carrier: Make it a fun space for them! Bring the carriers out into your living space, and give them a permanent spot in your home (ideally, one carrier per cat). Put your kitty's favorite blanket & toys inside, and provide lots of treats inside the carrier, as well. Once your cat is comfortable laying in his/her carrier, begin closing the door/s and going for short walks around the house. Slowly lengthen their time spent in the carrier. Go for walks around the neighborhood; Go for short drives; Etc. Keep in Mind: Carrier-Training is a huge bonus if there happens to be an emergency or natural disaster situation where you & your animals may need to evacuate in a hurry! It's a great idea to assign a word that means "carrier time"!! You could say "Crate!" or "Let's go for a ride!" Make the carrier a part of their daily environment & routine, and you will have no problems when you need them in it.!!

 Bought this specifically for transporting all 3 adult cats to the vet at once. I used to have to make 2 vet appointments because I couldn’t handle carrying all 3 in those plastic cat carriers- always feels like the handle will break and the cats will get loose. If you have multiple cats you know how stressful it can be on the cats when it’s time to go to the V-E-T (not to mention the stress on pet parent). Got it next day and used it today. Super easy and intuitive to set up, wheel base is removable so the carrier part can be carried with sturdy handles. All 3 cats fit with room to spare. Folds flat and comes with a carrying case. Very well made and sturdy construction. The vet tech loved it too and was impressed that it was so roomy. The wheels aren’t designed for cross country treks through the wilderness, but perfect for shuttling your furry friends around paved walkways.

The only slight hiccup was when I first tried extending the handle to its longest position- it got stuck and for a few minutes I thought it was broken. Turns out I had to tug on it quick and hard and it unstuck the push pin mechanism on the sides- no issues after that. Great product and a life saver.

This is large enough for either of my cats. The tabby in the photo is 8 pounds and the black cat is 15 pounds and tall/long. It glidess easily and is light weight, which is great since I got it for my bad back. The handle tucks away and also locks at a nice angle when extended. I love that this folds flat and has a carrying case! The wheels attach with fabric flaps held on by pretty strong velcro. Might be tricky or impossible to remove the wheels if a cat is inside so I'm not sure yet how easy this will be in the car and taking our elderly cat to the groomers. My cats liked the inside squishy bed but are a little freaked out when it moves. I originally bought a different carrier that was way too small. This one costs more but seems worth it so far. Overall highly recommend especially if you have a larger cat or other animal that needs room to move.

Highly recommend for quality and price/value. I have 2 cats, one is 9lbs and the other is around 12lbs. I got this for a multi-purpose vet carrier and my cats bug out bag for emergencies. It fits inside my car perfectly. Carrying 2 cats in any SHTF situation, plus my emergency bag is a challenge, but this makes it manageable with design and the wheels. Though there is not a lot of extra space with both of them in there, they fit pretty comfortably. PROS: Great price for the high quality; Well-made & attractive; Quick zip-up assembly; Nice storage case, Wheel-base is very easy to take-off & on (Velcro, but very secure); Rolls really easily (on the carpet in the house)

CONS: For me, did not work because will primarily use WITHOUT the wheels and the "Shoulder Strap" mentioned in the product description is for the storage case, NOT the carrier itself (no place to attach). Also, without the wheel base, and given its large size, the bottom (and thus the carrier) is pretty "bendy" (more so with a 23 lb. cat).

BUT it is a WONDERFUL "wheeled" carrier -- Would keep it just for those rare occasions I need wheels (lugging all four cats someplace at the once), if we had room to store it. If you always plan to use it with the wheels -- 5 STARS.

I was very impressed how beautifully the cat carrier had been made. Very sturdy. As soon as I put the carrier on the floor my cat went to lie in it even though she has a number of pet beds. She chose to lie in it at various other times. She seemed very comfortable when I took her to the vet in it and because I could pull it along it made it easier on my shoulder. For greater security I sewed some clips on to the carrier to keep the zips together. If it had the clips I would have given it 5 stars. Very happy with the carrier.

This carrier has worked perfectly for our very large cat who wouldn’t dare enter into any of our hard sided carrier’s. Our big guy is 20+ pounds and more than 23 “ long nose to tail; he can enter and turn around in the large carrier (26” long). I am not strong enough to carry my large heavy cat in a larger carrier so a wheeled base was a necessity. I also never liked having to put a carrier on the floor of a vets office. The entire side of the carrier zips open which makes it much easier to get my cat in and out when he’s nervous. He willingly enters and has been using it to sleep in since we got it. It’s appears to be well made, sturdy, and looks good too! Everything folds up and can be packed away in the included carry bag - super!!
Two things I wish it did have would be some way to secure it to the wheeled base for safety reasons especially if you intend to use for a lighter pet. For our big boy it works and does not shift when perched upon the wheeled base but we are super careful. A waterproof bottom insert would have been ideal for any nervous accidents. I can’t actually tell what the bottom is made of as it’s fabric covered. I’ve elected to slip the bottom insert into a heavy duty green garbage bag before putting it into the carrier and then cover with his favourite blanket. I am very happy to have found a carrier to transport our large cat to and from the vet comfortably and with less anxiety.

I really like this carrier in terms of the design and its versatility, but unfortunately I think it's not that practical for my 1 yr old sheltie (after his coat fills out, I think it will be a bit tight for him). My 1 yr old sheltie is 22 lbs, and I would say about 15-16" tall, he can turn around in it, but this carrier doesn't look much bigger than his Sherpa (in size large) and my vet says my Sherpa is a bit tight for him.

I will focus my review on its design and the practical aspects of it instead, since I have to return.

PROS:
- As mentioned, I really like the design/colour and its versatility. You can attach the carrier onto the wheeled platform to roll it around like a luggage bag, or you can sling it across your shoulder. I would probably use it more as an over the shoulder carrier, however, unless I need to carry him for long distances.
- The material and quality of the carrier seems to be good. And I really like the mat that it comes with. It might be strange, but I appreciate that it's black rather than white (like my Sherpa).
- It comes with a travelling bag, and everything packs into it really nicely.

CONS:
- I find the handle a bit difficult to pull out and put away. Hence, if I were to keep it, I planned on using it as a over the shoulder carrier more often than a rolling carrier.
- Also, there are no brakes on the wheels, so it's actually very hard for your dog to go in the carrier, if it's a dog that would just fit (like mine). You would need to get your dog to walk into the carrier first, then attach it onto the platform (the bag is attached onto the platform via velcro). If you have a small dog that you can plop in through the top, or a dog that can slip in very easily, this might not be a problem.
- The carrier hold its shape, but the overall structure does not seem strong. I was confused at first when I was setting it up - the only way the bag can hold its structure is if you zip up the front and back. That's why it can fold so thinly, because there doesn't seem to be metal bars are thick wiring holding up its shape. While the material is nice, I find the structural support a bit lacking and it makes me feel like my dog can easily be squished by something if something were to fall on him or lean against him.
- The space to enter the carrier is very narrow (or at least it's too narrow for my sheltie, given his current coat, which hasn't grown out yet). My sheltie just fits through the flap, and I would need to force him to go through. I think the design of this carrier would be improved if they can make the space to go in a bit wider and taller. I wish the carrier had a firmer structure, so rather than the small entry, the end of the carrier that I zipped up to hold the carrier up, should be the opening. For a smaller carrier like this, I'm surprised they don't make the entrance the entire width/length of the actual carrier (i.e., straight opening), or at least wider.

Last remarks:
I think my sheltie feels kind of claustrophobic in this carrier. I bought him another carrier, that's bigger in size, and he goes into that carrier quite willingly and he definitely looks a lot more comfortable because there is space for him to sit up (hunched over), and when his coat fully grows in, I think the bigger carrier would suit him better. I probably would've kept this carrier and I would have taken the chance that my sheltie will outgrow it, if it was easier to get him to go in. I really like the option of wheeling him around and the design, but the small door/flap is a huge deterring factor for me. If I am having a hard time now, when his coat grows in, I definitely won't be able to put him in UNLESS I unzip the part of the carrier that actually holds up its shape (but it will then collapse on him). My sheltie can turn in it, however, he cannot sit up straight, he would have to lay down, and I would say he fits just right. If you have a smaller sheltie, a smaller dog, or a short-haired small dog, I would say you can give it a go because it is a good carrier. But if you have a dog that's a small-medium, this carrier might be tight.
