What more can I add that hasn't already been said?!
This is the best Airport I've ever had the privilege to stay and experience overnight.
Not only is this the most beautiful Airport in the World (Voted upon by the travel industry) but the modern Lounges and the Airport hotels make this the most convenient place to stay if you have a long layover ( 16 hours for me) I don't mind at all. I just walked through this massive layout, with 4 huge terminals to explore.
Lots of hidden gardens, magical and whimsical in so many areas of all four terminals, lots of kids' play areas, and massive amounts of great food vendors throughout.
In addition, if you're so inclined to do some High-end shopping all your Bougie designer's can be found here. Lots of duty free stores for last minute purchases as well.
Sorry LAX, you're nowhere near this level of comfort yet. Keep trying!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 11, 2024
Hands down THE BEST airport I've been to so far! It's clean, interactive, and LOTS of unique places to shop, eat at, and things to do (and for free)!
This airport even has a transit hotel, lounge, and free cinema theater!
Lots of nice decor, clean restrooms, nursing stations, and more!
They are a little too strict in terms of flights, check ins, but i get it!
Can't wait to visit the airport again soon!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 28, 2023
My wife and I were headed to Hong Kong out of the Changi Airport. In Terminal 2, the Airport Terminal was pretty large and had a variety of things to do.
In addition to the standard duty free shops, they had a wide range of restaurants, they had a free butterfly garden, and a free open movie theater (they were playing some comic book movie when we walked by).
We did notice that if you had a significant layover wait, you could sign-up for a couple different local Singapore tours, probably as a way of getting people to see the area and spend some money in the area.
It's more entertaining than most airports I've been to.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sandy B.Chandler, AZ2947593550Apr 15, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
We were traveling internationally. They make it quick and easy. We first went through the immigration side. We scanned our passports twice. Smiled at the cameras and we through. That was a Monday morning around 0700. The restaurants and stores don't open until about 0700-0800. Once you get to your gate, you scan your bags and are let in to the sitting area for your flight.

The guy that takes suitcases off the conveyor is lining them up straight, and by size. They brush the cracks in the moving escalators. Nothing goes missed.

I never felt the need to write or read reviews for airports - it's not like you have any choice! But Changi is different.... The city nation of Singapore is most impressive in its well run public transport system and the efficiency of its social functions; and the impression starts at Changi.
From the (almost) humanless custom clearing to the luggage delivery, in and out of this airport is an experience you'd unlikely to find in most other major airports.
They've also built gardens, fountains, and other fun experiences to make this place a destination in itself. If you have time, check out the butterfly garden, the waterfall, and tubes in between the floors.
Shopping is incredible here, with more stores than you can imagine! Other than the common brands, I found some tea and coffee specialty shops to be worth a visit.
All that said, I do feel the filing of the SG Arrival Card & Health Declaration process to be a bit disappointing. Arrival passengers don't find out about it until right before the customs and the web site was slow, weather you use your own device or the iPads at the terminal. Hope to see them make some improvements soon.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Apr 1, 20241 check-in
It is a privilege to be able to enter and explore this airport. Seriously breathtaking. I got so lost because it's not only huge, but everything is appealing that you would want to individually check out. I had an issue with something I left at the baggage storage and the people at the information desk were SO helpful on returning it to me in a timely manner. In the last hour I was there, I was able to shower at a lounge, pick up food, buy souvenirs and RUN to my gate (lol, story of my life). I will be coming back!

It's absolutely beautiful. The best airport I've ever been too. There is an entire mall that is spectacular. Everyone is walking around with their suitcases! There is a place to check them in if you don't want to carry your luggage around.
The Jewel is the focal point of the airport. A tourist attraction, it is a huge waterfall. Restaurants surround the jewel. It's stunning.
This airport is like no other.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Jun 3, 2023
This is an epic airport! And what a cool way to be greeted into a new country. From the moment you get off the plane and into the airport, you can tell Singapore is a world of its own.
My favorite part was the famous indoor waterfall! You do have to go to a separate terminal/building to get to it.... But it is technically still part of the airport. Aside from this there's also a TON of other things to find in all the different terminals. There's basically a full mall in some areas, jungle gym type thing, butterfly garden, etc.
All of the workers here were extremely friendly and helpful! Getting out of the airport was also extremely easy as they have a very organized and logical system.
Really effective and efficient, clean, friendly, airport. You'll be in good hands when coming in/out of here.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 22, 2023
